Honor as the Foundation of Trust
Dustin was born and raised in the western region of greater Pittsburgh, where he learned early lessons from a family familiar with both the successes, failures, and challenges of business ownership. Those formative experiences shaped his respect for hard work, accountability, and resilience, values that continue to guide his personal and professional life.
Professionally, Dustin works at the intersection of finance and corporate development, often serving as a connector who brings people, ideas, and resources together. He has been involved in transactions and initiatives across multiple industries, including meaningful work within the mental health and wellness space. His approach balances strategic thinking with a strong understanding of how mission and sustainability must work together.
Dustin’s commitment to recovery is deeply personal. He has lost years of his own life, as well as close friends, to addiction. Those experiences gave him a firsthand understanding of how substance use disorder fractures families and communities, and they strengthened his resolve to pursue solutions that restore hope, purpose, and opportunity.
He believes that effective recovery requires more than treatment alone. Dustin supports approaches that emphasize structure, accountability, compassion, and long-term support, recognizing that sustainable healing must address the whole person and the systems surrounding them.
At the core of Dustin’s leadership philosophy is a belief in amplifying others. He values honor as the foundation of trust and believes in giving more than he takes in relationships. He is guided by the conviction that when blue-collar values are combined with white-collar aspirations, the result is principled entrepreneurship that creates lasting impact.
Through his role on the board, Dustin brings strategic insight, lived experience, and a deep sense of purpose to the foundation’s mission. He is committed to advancing initiatives that treat addiction and mental health with urgency, dignity, and vision, helping build pathways to recovery that are rooted in integrity, hope, and community.
